What this site is, and what it isn't.
Everything here is general information written for people trying to understand their own symptoms. It is not a diagnosis, not a prescription, and not a substitute for being examined by a doctor who knows your history.
- Severe breathlessness, a reliever inhaler that is not working, swelling of the lips, tongue or face, or a severe allergic reaction is an emergency.
- Use an adrenaline auto-injector if you have been prescribed one, then go to the nearest emergency department or call for an ambulance.
- Do not wait for a reply to a message. The WhatsApp number and this website are not monitored continuously and are not an emergency service.
General information, not medical advice
The articles on this site describe how allergy and lung conditions are generally investigated and treated. They are written and reviewed by Dr. Radhika Sharma, and they are kept accurate to the best of her knowledge at the date shown on each page. Medicine changes, and pages may not always reflect the most recent evidence.
Reading this site does not create a doctor–patient relationship. Nothing here should be used to diagnose yourself, to start or stop a medicine, or to decide against seeing a doctor. What is right for one patient is frequently wrong for another, which is the reason consultations exist.
Individual results differ
Where this site describes what a treatment does — including allergen immunotherapy — it describes the treatment as studied in populations. It is not a promise about what will happen to you. Whether any treatment is appropriate depends on your history, your test results and your own circumstances, and some patients are told plainly that a treatment is not right for them.
Booking an appointment
The booking form does not confirm anything on its own. It opens WhatsApp with your details written out; you send the message, and an appointment exists only once the clinic has replied to confirm it. Requests are answered during consulting hours, Monday to Saturday, 11 am to 6 pm.
Fees
Consultation and test charges are explained when you book, and nothing is ordered without being discussed with you first. No fee is quoted on this website, and no page here should be read as a quotation.
