What this website does with your information.
The short version: this site has no accounts, no tracking, no advertising and no database. It does not collect anything about you, and the booking form deliberately sends nothing to us — you send it yourself, from your own WhatsApp.
What the website collects
Nothing that identifies you. There are no accounts, no login, no newsletter, no comments and no analytics or advertising trackers. We do not set cookies, and we do not build a profile of you or your visit.
The booking form is worth explaining properly, because forms usually do collect data and this one does not. What you type into it stays in your browser. When you press the button, your browser opens WhatsApp with the message already written; nothing is sent anywhere until you press send in WhatsApp yourself. The website never receives your name, your number or your reason for booking, and stores none of it.
What our hosting provider sees
This site is hosted by Cloudflare, whose servers keep short-term technical logs of requests, including IP addresses, as essentially all web servers do. These are operational records used to serve pages and protect against abuse. We do not inspect them, and we do not use them to identify visitors.
Fonts, and the one third party involved
The typefaces used here are served by Google Fonts. Loading them means your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which discloses your IP address and general device information to Google. This is the only third-party request any page you read makes. Nothing else — no Facebook pixel, no advertising network, no session recording, no chat widget.
The staff editor
There is a private page at /admin/ where the clinic writes and edits the articles in the Knowledge section. It is not linked from anywhere, is excluded from search engines, and requires a sign-in. It is the one part of this site that loads software from a third party: the editor itself comes from a public software registry, and the people who write for the clinic sign in with a GitHub account, so GitHub sees that sign-in. No patient information passes through it; it handles articles only, and nothing on the pages you read loads it.
WhatsApp and telephone
Appointments are arranged by WhatsApp or telephone. When you message or call, your number and whatever you choose to send — including any reports, prescriptions or scans — reach the clinic directly. WhatsApp is operated by Meta, not by this clinic, and messages are handled under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy as well as the settings on your device. Message content is end-to-end encrypted in transit, but copies remain on your phone and on the clinic's phone.
Please don't send anything urgent by message. Anything you share for clinical purposes is treated as part of your medical record and handled under the confidentiality obligations that apply to any consultation.
Your medical records
Information you give during a consultation, and any test results, are kept as your clinical record. That record is confidential and is not shared with anyone else without your consent, except where a doctor is required by law to disclose it. If another doctor has referred you, or you ask us to write to a doctor treating you, we will — with your permission.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have rights over personal data held about you — including the right to know what is held, to ask for corrections, and to complain about how it has been handled. Because this website holds nothing, these rights are exercised in relation to your clinical record. Ask at the clinic, or use the contact below.
Children
A significant part of this practice is paediatric. This website is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, including children. Appointments for a child are arranged by a parent or guardian.
Changes
If the site ever starts collecting anything — analytics, a real booking system, anything at all — this page will be updated before that happens, and the date at the top will change.
